During RETAILTECH Osaka 2022, which was held at INTEX Osaka from July 21 to 22, PAX showcased its full range of advanced payment terminal solutions with local deployment cases.

RETAILTECH Osaka is one of the largest exhibitions in Japan, displaying the latest IT equipment systems and related services that support retail and distribution businesses, such as POS, logistics systems and digital marketing.

A number of visitors appreciated the compact and stylish design of PAX Android-based smart payment terminals. The portfolio included the globally best-selling flagship model SmartPOS A920, which has been deployed by several significant payment service providers in Japan as part of Digital Transformation (DX) service to numerous merchants.

PAX IM10 is another model that has been gaining popularity during the pandemic. The IM10 is an unattended payment module designed with a large scanning reader and supports various contactless payment options including NFC and QR code, for vending machines and self-service machines. The fully certified model IM10, integrated with the vending machine, was displayed at the PAX stand. Visitors had an opportunity to experience how the PAX IM10 streamlines transactions with a contactless credit card or E-money.
